Andy Warhol Tuft

Here, the artist honors Andy Warhol in a very delirious way, by staging the vandalization of the work « The Origin Of The World » by a woman hiding behind Marilyn’s portrait, in the very pop-art style of Warhol.

This work is a mix of different periods and styles, combining the work of Gustave Courbet dating from the 19th century, and that of Warhol of the 20th century, all staged by Philippe Shangti.
