On November 7th 2024, has been hosted the Artcurial event and conference with the artist Philippe Shangti and the writer Renaud Siegmann. This event gathered more than 200 guests, who all came together to attend this exclusive conversation between the two icons of the international art scene, and discover the artist new book Futurspective.
During this talk, Philippe and Renaud have been discussing about the Futurspective book creation and Philippe’s creative process evolution. As an engaged artist, Philippe Shangti has been driven by different causes, and
once again, both this conversation and the Futurspective book are a demonstration of the artist’s depth. The artist talent lies in the complexity of his artworks, which hide a plethora of details, such that you can look at a Philippe Shangti photography twice, and you will never interpret it the same way.
Later, Philippe Shangti engaged in a signing session of his book, offering the opportunity to each guest to exchange a few words with the artist. With its glamorous red cover and futuristic writing, ‘Futurspective’ is a piece of art itself, offering a thorough look at the artist artwork, through 180 photographs, including some unpublished works, never before unveiled, and which marked key stages in his artistic evolution. Published by Selena Éditions and printed by the renowned studio Deux-Ponts, Futurspective is a true visual, literary and artistic exploration.
